On August 22, 2024, the HGAP-SZ 2024 Fiscal Year Annual party and the Anniversary of Sullair brand in China celebration were successfully held. Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems (HIES) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Yoshihiko Tachibana as the new General Manager of Hitachi Global Air Power Suzhou Co., Ltd. (HGAP-SZ), effective from April 1st, 2024. This transition follows the relocation of the current General Manager, Mr. Natsuki Kawabata, who will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of HGAP in the United States.Mr. Tachibana brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the industry. He joined Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems (HIES) in 2004, where he had been primarily responsible for HIES's international sales of Hitachi-branded air compressors. Prior to joining HIES, Mr. Tachibana served as a sales support engineer for overseas customers, gaining valuable insights into different business cultures and practices.During his career, Mr. Tachibana has had the opportunity to work and lead teams in various oversea countries, including China (Shenzhen), the United Kingdom (London), and Thailand (Bangkok). In China, he played a critical role in transferring the test bench from Japan to Shenzhen; and led the subsequent training for local engineers to grow as the future representatives of the company for China market. In the United Kingdom, Mr. Tachibana oversaw the sales of components by actively visiting and approaching customers across Europe. His footprint covered more than 20 countries during his tenure. Moreover, in Thailand, he led the team and successfully doubled the sales revenues within six years.Mr. Tachibana will soon relocate to Suzhou, China. With his extensive international management experience and excellent track record, Mr. Yoshihiko Tachibana is well positioned to lead HGAP-SZ into the next phase of growth and development in China.

Sullair Shenzhen relocation ceremony was held in Shenzhen on November8,2020.Sullair invited some key accounts and distributors in southern China to attend the ceremony.Mr. John Randall, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Sullair Asia, made a wonderful speech on behalf of the management. Construction machinery trade fairbauma China was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from 27 to30 November, 2018. The advanced technologies and innovative equipment displayedat the Sullair booth attracted a large number of visitors throughout thefour-day event.Sullair exhibited a number of newmachines during the expo, including a 700RH model and a 1300 model largeportable air compressor equipped with smart controls, the OFD1550 portable oilfree air compressor, and the PTO12XH unpowered accessory air compressor.The Sullair 700RH and 1300 portablediesel air compressors now come with smart controls in place of the traditionalmechanical controls, allowing for more precise control of the machine andfaster response times. This in turn helps improve efficiency and reducesoverall diesel consumption. In addition, thanks to the multiple controlprograms available for these products, a single air compressor can provide theright air volume and pressure for a variety of working scenarios.Such powerful functionality did not gounnoticed by the media at the event. Sean Xie mentioned that the oil free portable machines are inhigh demand in Southeast Asia, which will further grow Sullair’s business inthe energy and chemicals sectors. The OFD1550 oil free portable air compressorexhibited at bauma China was flown in all the way from the Sullair headquartersin the US. The machine takes a further step forward by meeting T4 emissionsstandards and is one of the top machines on the global market.In July, 2017, Sullair formally joined the Hitachi Group,which launched a powerful new partnership. Hitachi Group has been focused onthe information technology sector for several years and is a world-leader indigital technologies and IoT. In February 2022, Sullair China signed the Energy Management contract with Suzhou Yuwei New Energy company to start the 999.53kW solar panel project. The project construction was started from May 2022 and officially connected with Grid on June 30, 2022.With 20-year life of the solar panel project, it is estimated to be able to generate 21,117,500kwh, which means saving 6,715 tons coal and reducing carbon dioxide (CO?) emissions by 21,054 tons.

On July 22, 2021, xiangfen of Shanxi Province was hit by a heavy rainstorm. A large number of rocks and silt were inclined on the railway, covering an area of 12,600 square meters.At the moment of crisis, Sullair engineers rushed to the site with 3 portable compressors and carried out rescue operations in full. Sullair, an industry leader in innovative compressed air solutions since 1965, announced that Mr. Natsuki Kawabata will be appointed as the new President of Sullair Asia, effective April 1, 2021. As the successor of John Randall, who was recentlypromoted to President and CEO of Sullair Worldwide, Mr. Kawabata will assume full responsibility for the overall operations of Sullair in Asia.Mr. Kawabata has worked for Hitachi since 1994. He has held leadership positions within the new product development and engineering teams of Hitachi’s oil flooded and oil free compressor divisions for more than 20 years.In 2004, Kawabata-san worked for Hitachi Asia Singapore as a sales engineer. In 2006, when Hitachi introduced the DSP distribution network in the United States, Canada and Mexico, Kawabata-san served as the lead engineer. In this role, he enjoyed having the opportunity to visit several North American Sullair distributors including Blake & Pendleton, Comairco, Maqpower and more. Kawabata-san’s direct experience in China includes launching the Hitachi OSP-NEXT2 Series of oil flooded rotary screw compressors while working with Hitachi Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd. Nanjing, China (HINC). HINC is a subsidiary of Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems (HIES) and manufactures oil flooded and oil free rotary screw compressors, oil flooded and oil free reciprocating compressors and scroll compressors.Kawabata-san will soon relocate to Suzhou, China. Kawabata-san brings extensive knowledge of, and experience in, the air compressor business. Since the booth S002 located at the main entrance of the exhibition hall, Sullair attracted many visitors with its exhibitors DLQ1260Z/1525XH and DWQ1300.Shandong, as the major market of the national well drilling industry, has always been the place where the high pressure portable compressors are used.
