New name supports the company's growth and strategic vision while marking an inspiring next chapter for its global compressed air businessHitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co., Ltd. In the nearly six years since the acquisition, HIES has leveraged the Sullair global sales network and complementary portfolio products and services to substantially increase the size, strength, and competitiveness of its global air compressor business. Hitachi Global Air Power will continue to offer a full range of integrated compressed air solutions, including portable air compressors, industrial air compressors (oil-free and oil-flooded), aftermarket OEM parts, fluids and more.Hitachi Global Air Power will leverage a multi-channel, multi-brand strategy. While Sullair will change its corporate name, the branding will remain intact on its products, including Sullair, Champion and Air-One. Sullair China celebrated 2022 annual party at Crowne Plaza Hotel Suzhou on November 7th, 2022.The celebration was kicked off with a beautiful dance. Kawabata san, the General manager of Sullair Asia made the opening speech, he reviewed the excited achievements in the past year, and expressed his appreciation for all the employees’ consistent efforts.Trophy and awards have been presented to outstanding employees in 2022 and employees who served the company for a long time, appreciating their exceptional performance and long-term dedications.During the performance show, the versatile colleagues performed dance, poetry recitation, singing…showing the acting talents. From August 24 to 27, 2022, Hitachi and Sullair made an impressive appearance at the 2022 Tairos/Automation Taipei trade show with the high efficiency oil-free air compressors.As the world’s leading manufacturer of air compressors, Sullair has always been known for its innovative technology and quality service. Sullair China celebrated its 5-year anniversary of becoming a Hitachi Group Company on July 13, 2022.This all-employee event was held in Sullair Suzhou canteen, where employees who based in Suzhou were treated with tea break and desserts, and employees based in other offices joined the celebration through teams.Senior executives from Hitachi and Sullair global CEO sent the congratulations via video. Kawabata san, the General manager of Sullair Asia made the opening speech, he reviewed the excited achievements of Hitachi-Sullair cooperation and delivered his expectations for the company’s overall growth in the future.Hitachi acquired Sullair as part of the Hitachi Industrial Equipment & System group in July 2017. In the past 5 years with the backing of Hitachi, Sullair China has been continued to invest in the people, facilities and products, which will help Sullair to achieve the long-term goals. On June 27, the 2022 distributor conference of Sullair China was grandly held at Changsha, China. Nearly 100 distributors from China gathered together to review the brilliant achievements of Sullair in 2021 and discuss the ambitious strategy for 2022.Due to the pandemic impact on travel, two senior executives from Hitachi——the President and Director Charlie Takeuchi san and the Managing Director of Global Air Compressor Operations group Henry Tanaka san recorded a speech for the conference. In the video, Hitachi executives encouraged Sullair distributors to be more innovative and flexible to meet the new challenges of the changing markets.John Randall, Sullair global President and CEO delivered the opening speech virtually via video conference. John expressed his appreciation for Sullair China’s achievements in the past year and his expectation back to China to visit the distributors. In February 2022, Sullair China signed the Energy Management contract with Suzhou Yuwei New Energy company to start the 999.53kW solar panel project. The project construction was started from May 2022 and officially connected with Grid on June 30, 2022.With 20-year life of the solar panel project, it is estimated to be able to generate 21,117,500kwh, which means saving 6,715 tons coal and reducing carbon dioxide (CO?) emissions by 21,054 tons.

On July 22, 2021, xiangfen of Shanxi Province was hit by a heavy rainstorm. A large number of rocks and silt were inclined on the railway, covering an area of 12,600 square meters.At the moment of crisis, Sullair engineers rushed to the site with 3 portable compressors and carried out rescue operations in full. Sullair engineers raced against time to provide technical assistance to the rescue site with their own expertise. In addition, 3 Sullair compressors are participating in the drilling of the reinforcement holes of railway bridge piles in a stable and orderly status, providing a solid supporting for the rescue operation. The 3 portable compressors have been in service for more than 8 years, but still maintain strong power.
