As a global leading air compressor supplier, Sullair has been devoted to the development and manufacturing of screw air compressors for more than 50 years. Thanks to the efforts and dedication of every Sullair employee, Sullair Asia's sales and after-sales service network now covers China, Southeast Asia and other Asian regions. This is thanks to the hard work and contribution of every Sullair employee, they are the ones who have created each milestone in Sullair history. Here, in order to respond to market changes and the pace of the company's development, we have organized a training course on complex thinking and knowledge for the heads of the after-sales service department and some of the functional departments on the 19th and 20th of April. Beginning with an ice-breaking game led by Ms. Huang Xiaowei, the HR director, the learning environment was filled with laughter during each themed segment of the training course.Lesson 1: Leadership Sailing depends on steersman; all things grow under the sun. In any team, leadership skills are the winning hand. Today, the Leadership training course brought by Mr. Xie Weidong, President of Sullair Asia helps department heads master the concept of team management from the upper stream of the company and sets the tone for future development.President Xie mentioned that leadership is an art that focuses on people and guides people. It requires ambition and the willingness to undertake responsibility. As leaders, we must first establish a goal and know how to motivate and trust others in the attainment of our goals. As the president of Sullair Asia, Mr. Xie Weidong has established himself as our role model. He not only gave specific guidance to the company's leadership and implementation work, but also summed up three issues for us: 1. Does the team have a clear goal? 2Has the team been given enough time and resources? 3. Has the team received enough support? Conclusion: This is not only a requirement for Sullair leaders, but also a requirement for himself. All Sullair employees should take note and learn.Lesson 2: Brand Sales and Service ConceptsSales is about the delivery of inherent value to customers. Xie Jie, Director of the After-sales Service Department stated clearly in the “Brand Sales and Service Concepts” training that: After-sales service is the value of Sullair sales. In particular, after-sale service is tied to the parts and service of the Sullair brand. ”For Sullair, every after-sales strategy focuses on the development over the next three to five years with the key lying in providing customers with products that meet demand and solve problems. This is also Sullair's concept of creating service-oriented products. Director Xie's arguments on each aspect of brand value selling have been very innovative. Each specific example that was shared brought guidance to the trainees on how to think and act, so that everyone can fully grasp the basic concept and framework knowledge of parts and service sales.

With the objective of strengthening employee team building, increasing team cohesion, nurturing team spirit and collaboration interest, and for everyone to let off some steam and enhance internal communication among employees in the afternoon of October 13, 2017, SSAI launched a one-and-a-half-day team trip to Xunliao Bay, which boasts so-called"Godsent white shores’.After eating lunch, three passenger coaches hit the road heading for Xunliao Bay in Huidong County for a seasideadventure. Everyone took advantage and napped during the ride and the tour guide briefly made some announcementsregarding safety and the itinerary. It took a bit more than 2 hours to get to the Sea Park at Xunliao Bay smoothly. Whenarriving at the reserved hotel there, we saw the automatic e-banner at the hotel door welcoming us. Each of the roomswe reserved had a fantastic view of the sea and the beach. After placing our luggage in the guest rooms and resting for a short while, we gathered at the Sea Park Expansion Base at3:15 pm, where we enjoyed the sea breeze, beach and the crystal-clear sea. Strolling along the winding coastline, gazingat the blue sky and white clouds, and basking in the sunshine, we marveled at the glorious sun and fresh air of nature.Xunliao Bay, also called the Eastern Maldives, is like a painting, with reefs, rocks, mountains and fishing boats in thedistance. Along the coastline, the golden light of the sun shone on the sea, while waves splashed the coast, it was quitepicturesque. Our trainers at the base had already set up tents on the beach and prepared many activities. After warm-ups, our teamwas divided into four groups. Then, through brainstorming among members of each group, each group came up with theirnames and slogans which were shown on placards: Fishing (Catch you all), Sharks (No Match), Invincible (UniversallyInvincible), and No.1 (Always First). It seemed that all groups were not to be underestimated. Which would win? Wait andsee! It turned out that the Sharks won the championship with the highest total score. Seems like their slogan was prettytelling! Our uniform clothing - men in white and women in red - stood out as a beautiful sight on the beach. Many tourists wereattracted by the laughter and cheering along the beach and the fun games and activities we played drew lots of attention.A team needs effective communication and collaboration among team members to outmatch an opponent. Apart frommaking everyone active on the beach, the games were intended to make everyone understand that no matter whetherfacing success or failure, we must stay optimistic with a strong sense of competition and high spirits in both our lives andlearning. Perhaps our daily work is repetitive and dry, but we must bear in mind that excellence is present even in doingsmall things well, but working together with colleagues is a joyful thing.

On September 1, 2017, the China (Karamay) International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CKPPE for short) for exchange among petroleum equipment businesses was held at the Karamay Expo Center in Xinjiang. The exhibition was hosted by People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China National Petroleum Corporation and organized by the Karamay Municipal People's Government and China National Petroleum Corporation Xinjiang Branch. Many manufacturers in the petroleum equipment industry from both at home and abroad participated.Among these exhibitors, Sullair was the sole compressor exhibitor in the category of oilfield air drilling. The 900XHH/1150XH and 1250XHH/1525XH series of portable diesel-driven multipurpose units, ELQ1250XH/1525XH series of motor-driven units, DS series of dry oil-free units, and TS series of two-stage oil injection units attracted many attendees, with one-machine multipurpose units (commonly known as units for dual working conditions) catching the eye of customers engaged in the field of air drilling.During the three-day (September 1-3) exhibition, the SSAI booth was packed with a large number of attendees. Mr. Xie Weidong, President of Sullair Asia led his team to the exhibition site, the sales staff present were fervent and patient in communicating with attendees, the Sullair on-site sales staff showcased the features and advantages of Sullair products to the attendees.During this exhibition, Sullair consolidated its existing relationships with its partners, made new friends, and found potential customers, which laid a solid foundation for its market development and brought about new business opportunities.
Due to its excellent design characteristics, high environmental adaptability and strong reliability, Sullair's portable screw air compressors have been widely applied in earth-rock drilling and blasting, mining, oil and gas drilling, pipeline construction, construction of hydropower stations, highways, tunnels and bridges, well irrigation, geothermal utilization, shipbuilding, back-up machine stations, etc. Recently, Sullair's seawater-cooled diesel-driven high-pressure air compressor for underwater reef-blasting construction has been successfully used by New Harbor Bay Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NHBE) in Guangxi Province. In 1999, NHBE was established in Guangxi. It emerged as the times required and became stronger and stronger with the development of the harbor industry. After decades of effort, the company has won a good reputation in the field of harbor industry and has become the largest and the most competitive underwater reef-blasting company in China. Prior to the purchase of seawater-cooled diesel-driven high-pressure air compressors from Sullair, NHBE already had more than a dozen reef-blasting ships equipped with more than 60 air-cooled air compressors. These air compressors had to be placed on the decks of the ships due to the large amount of heat they emitted, which reduced the space for installation and operation of rigs and limited the scale of reef blasting. In order to undertake larger-scale reef-blasting projects, in 2016, NHBE decided to build a reef-blasting ship with air compressors installed in the cabin. Based on this decision, 7 seawater-cooled diesel-driven air compressors with an exhaust pressure at 24 bar and exhaust volume being no less than 30m3/min were needed.Upon receiving this information, Li Hongzhi, construction machinery sales manager of Sullair South China, set out to cut a deal with NHBE. As seawater-cooled diesel-driven air compressors had never been produced by Sullair before, nor had anyone in the industry, plus, the delivery time was urgent, Manager Li was not sure about the feasibility of this project. Faced with this challenge, chief engineer Liu Qingwei and engineering manager Hu Qingyu, through meticulous analysis and calculation, told Manager Li that this new application design would be possible which was a big relief for Manager Li. In the following rounds of bids, Manager Li overcame all difficulties and unexpected turns during the process and successfully won the NHBE order for 7 compressors. From the moment of signing the contract, there would be no backing out. A tight schedule coupled with a challenging and significant task meant that Sullair had to give it their all. To ensure the product would fully meet the requirements of NHBE, project chief designer Zhou Yanhui and senior engineer Zheng Zhen who were leading this project went onsite to confirm all of the client’s concrete requirements. After returning to the company, they set out on product design immediately and continued working tirelessly until the product was complete. Due to the urgent deadline, the engineering design team developed a detailed project schedule plan: first, design the shell-and-tube water-cooled cooler and make the effective total bill of materials; second, purchase long-term materials in advance and borrow second-hand materials; third, make drawings step by step according to the schedule and forward them to staff level by level. All the engineers knew they must be scrupulous with the drawings despite time limitations, and they discussed the design of every component down to the finest detail. Although Sullair's Production Department hadn't assembled this new model before, it had already begun with the assembly of the machines before the final drawings were sent to them. To ensure a smooth delivery, Sullair's Production Department assigned experienced assembly technicians to the assembly of this model; the Material Department kept an eye on materials and would arrange for purchase if any material was needed; the Quality Department paid full attention to the assembly line and would give feedback to engineers and corresponding suppliers if any component was found to be flawed. Sullair set up a temporary project team for the project and required the Material Department, Production Department, Quality Department, Supplier Development Group and Engineering Department to transfer one person each to oversee the progress. Every morning, a meeting would be held to announce the current progress and the problems encountered. Everyone was working their hardest to launch this project to the client within the specified timeframe. On November 7, the machines were sent to the customer site after problem-finding and solving, assembly and final performance testing were completed. It took only 2 months and 10 days for Sullair to fulfill an order from design to material purchase, then to product assembly, and finally to performance testing, creating the shortest timeframe ever in Sullair history. After delivery, these seven machines were installed in the ship cabin as planned. Upholding the corporate philosophy of "Sullair means quality. Sullair means service", Wang Dianchun, after-sales service engineer, would rush to the site for machine debugging upon receiving customer request. Every time he came out of the cabin, his shirt would be soaked with sweat because the space inside was small and humid. With the efforts of the Engineering Department, all machine debugging was completed in June 2017.After using them for nearly two months, NHBE has been quite satisfied with the performance of the machines. NHBE's person in charge of the project couldn't help but express to his friend circle on the social medium WeChat: "Sullair is so powerful - three machines at low wind pressure are enough to supply the air volume for 12 drilling rigs." It should be noted that previously, NHBE had to run six air compressors of the other brands they had been using. The successful use of Sullair's first batch of seven seawater-cooled diesel-driven air compressors indicated that Sullair had competence to enter the shipbuilding industry and expand towards new horizons. As a world-class provider of compressed air solutions, we know all too well that services and products are equally important. As professional providers of compressed air solutions, our products are exported all over the world, and our service network is also available worldwide. Sullair America, Sullair Asia, Sullair Europe, and Sullair Australia are devoted to providing customers with high-performance products and services all around the globe.Shenzhen Sullair Asia Industrial Co., Ltd. - Sullair Asia is an important part of Sullair, mainly responsible for Sullair products and services in China, Japan, Korea, and other countries in Southeast Asia.
