On August 22, 2024, the HGAP-SZ 2024 Fiscal Year Annual party and the Anniversary of Sullair brand in China celebration were successfully held. 2024 Sullair China Distributor Conference was successfully held on April 25th, distributors across China gathered to review the past year's achievements and look forward to a new chapter of cooperative development. The theme of the conference was “It’s time to showcase...Capacity, New Value, Growth.”At the beginning of the conference, Mr. Yasuhiro Takeuchi, President & CEO of HIES; Mr. Hideharu Tanaka, Executive Director & COO of HIES; Mr. John Randall, President & CEO of HGAP, delivered opening speeches in succession. They shared insights on the future development trends of the air compressor market, combined with the company's strategy and vision for future development planning, and established common strategic goals with the distributors.Following that, Mr. Yoshihiko Tachibana, the new General Manager of HGAP-SZ delivered speech. He shared his years of experience in sales and service related to compressors and provided strategic guidance based on the company and market situation. Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems (HIES) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Yoshihiko Tachibana as the new General Manager of Hitachi Global Air Power Suzhou Co., Ltd. (HGAP-SZ), effective from April 1st, 2024. This transition follows the relocation of the current General Manager, Mr. Natsuki Kawabata, who will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of HGAP in the United States.Mr. Tachibana brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the industry. He joined Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems (HIES) in 2004, where he had been primarily responsible for HIES's international sales of Hitachi-branded air compressors. Prior to joining HIES, Mr. Tachibana served as a sales support engineer for overseas customers, gaining valuable insights into different business cultures and practices.During his career, Mr. Tachibana has had the opportunity to work and lead teams in various oversea countries, including China (Shenzhen), the United Kingdom (London), and Thailand (Bangkok). In China, he played a critical role in transferring the test bench from Japan to Shenzhen; and led the subsequent training for local engineers to grow as the future representatives of the company for China market. In the United Kingdom, Mr. Tachibana oversaw the sales of components by actively visiting and approaching customers across Europe. His footprint covered more than 20 countries during his tenure. Moreover, in Thailand, he led the team and successfully doubled the sales revenues within six years.Mr. Tachibana will soon relocate to Suzhou, China. With his extensive international management experience and excellent track record, Mr. Yoshihiko Tachibana is well positioned to lead HGAP-SZ into the next phase of growth and development in China.
The 2023 Sullair China Distributor Conference was successfully held in Hong Kong. Distinguished guests from Hitachi headquarters, executives from Sullair, and Sullair China distributors gathered to discuss the theme of "Leading a Sustainable Future" and engaged in lively discussions.At the beginning of the conference, Yasuhiro (Charlie) Takeuchi, President of HIES; Hideharu (Henry) Tanaka, Executive Director of HIES; and John Randall, President of Sullair Global and Director of HIES, each delivered speeches and formulated a comprehensive strategic plan for the company's future development.Stephanie Roberts, Director of HIES Branding Dept, highlighted that the company's renaming represents a new beginning. The company will continue to provide highly efficient compressors and industrial Internet solutions to help customers achieve better energy efficiency and operational effectiveness.Looking ahead, Hitachi Group Air Power (HGAP) will continue to develop innovative technologies, strengthen digital technology empowerment, and firmly adhere to green and low-carbon production and management concepts, providing more valuable compressed air solutions. On June 27, the 2022 distributor conference of Sullair China was grandly held at Changsha, China. Nearly 100 distributors from China gathered together to review the brilliant achievements of Sullair in 2021 and discuss the ambitious strategy for 2022.Due to the pandemic impact on travel, two senior executives from Hitachi——the President and Director Charlie Takeuchi san and the Managing Director of Global Air Compressor Operations group Henry Tanaka san recorded a speech for the conference. In the video, Hitachi executives encouraged Sullair distributors to be more innovative and flexible to meet the new challenges of the changing markets.John Randall, Sullair global President and CEO delivered the opening speech virtually via video conference. John expressed his appreciation for Sullair China’s achievements in the past year and his expectation back to China to visit the distributors. Kawabata Natsuki san, General Manager of Sullair Asia extended a warm welcome to all the distributors. In his speech, Kawabata san highly recognized the huge growth of Sullair China in 2021, and proposed new targets and strategies for the new year.Following the management’s speech, the representatives from Sullair China sales, operation, quality, finance, marketing, channel management, legal, engineering and product management team also made the presentations.
On May 24-26, 2021, Sullair held the distributor conference themed “transformation” at Renaissance Sanya Haitang Bay Resort of Hainan. On the day of the conference, over 150 Sullair distributors from China gathered to look back over the past, and look forward to the future for embarking on a new journey together.The goal of the conference’s theme “Transformation” is to let Sullair be more customer-centric, to have our partners work together for sustainable society and win a big future together.At the beginning of the conference, Mr. John Randall, who is now the President and CEO of Sullair Global, and Mr. Kawabata Natsiki, the new General Manager of Sullair Asia, made speeches from a strategic perspective. Sullair Shenzhen relocation ceremony was held in Shenzhen on November8,2020.Sullair invited some key accounts and distributors in southern China to attend the ceremony.Mr. John Randall, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Sullair Asia, made a wonderful speech on behalf of the management. Gary Dai has assumed the role of General Manager of Hitachi Compressor (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., while continuing to serve as Finance Director.Yoshi Tachibana, the former General Manager, has been named Deputy General Manager, Global Sales Operations Group at Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co., Ltd. (HIES).Gary Dai holds an MBA. He has extensive experience in corporate management and cross-regional operations, having worked for global Fortune 500 companies including Verizon Communications, TRW Automotive, and ZF across the U.S., Europe, and China.He joined Sullair U.S. (predecessor of HGAP) in 2018 in a core finance role, later rising to Global Controller, overseeing financial management and internal control systems for both U.S. headquarters and China operations.Since 2022, he has been seconded by headquarters to HGAP Suzhou as Senior Finance Director, deeply involved in core business operations, management system development, and customer relationship maintenance.

Sullair air compressors were selected as the official equipment for the 13th National Mine Rescue Skills Competition held in Jining, Shandong. Our 1300M4XH and 1320D4RH units delivered reliable compressed air across multiple rescue simulations, supporting all 64 teams in critical scenarios such as tunnel rescue and emergency drainage.Organized by multiple national ministries and the Shandong Provincial Government, the competition emphasized real-world rescue operations. CHINALCO Ruimin Corporate, a core enterprise focused on high-end aluminum materials, upgraded three air compressor stations for the green manufacturing and achieved the certification of Class 1 Energy Efficient Compressed air Station, equipped with Sullair air compressors in their production lines.
